Well, I decided to wake up early for once. Sike, just kidding, I pulled an all nighter. I had plenty of things to do tonight thanks to my nasty habit of procrastinating till the very last day to do all of my assignments. When will I ever learn? Oh well, I'll try my best not to procrastinate next time.
Ugh, I still have to do my SAT workshop work, which is extremely lame. I hate having class during Saturdays, but if it's what it takes to boost my scores up, then I'm willing to make that sacrifice.
Got a busy June ahead of me: I was selected to go to cancer camp which will be a very heart-warming and enjoyable experience. I have personally never been camping, but I'm pretty sure re-enacting the Spongbob camping episode in the living room with a tent made out of blankets and pillows should count as something, right?
Then I have Camp Royal, which should be fun as well.
This lack of sleep, is really messing with me. I feel as if I'm going in and out of consciousness (no Drake pun intended). I thought I put the a fore mentioned Camp Royal comment, but in reality I did not.
I have been very intrigued with the ink blot test in psychology. I think those are pretty cool and I would like to partake in one of those tests so I can learn more about myself from a psychiatrist's point of view.
This weekend, I re-discovered my love for indie rock. Been listening to Aqualung and countless other small indie bands. And Frank Ocean. I have mad love for Frank Ocean. I can definitely relate to him later on.
Well, time to go get ready for school.
Au revoir.

Sunday, March 25, 2012
Well, these past two weeks have been really eventful. Spring break turned out to be a total success, and I had an overall great time.
Past couple of days, I was able to meet and hang out with one of my favorite rappers, Woozy Medwick. That guy is one of the coolest and most chill guys I know. We were laughing the whole time and freestyling, the night seemed to go by quick.
Odd Future has released their new album, O.F Mixtape Volume 2. Can't wait to hear it.
I have gotten back to writing verses and raps again and pretty soon I will start producing tracks. Planet Earth. Enough said.
The style stalking blog has not gone up yet, unfortunately. One, my computer crashed on me the first couple of days of spring break, so I could not set up the blog and two: I do not have sufficient pictures to put on the blog.
Today, season premiere of Mad Men is on. Never really watched that show, but I think it'll be good.

I gotta say...
Today was a good day.
I feel like a aced my pre-calculus test today, one that was sweating bricks over cause I felt like I did not know the material that well.
Second period, I feel like I got a 9/9 on my essay on legalizing marijuana. In class, we worked on questions from Swift's legendary "A Modest Proposal". Got an almost perfect score.
During brunch, I was able to beat the line of people standing and get my food in time before the bell rang. Like a bau5.
Fourth period, we watched a movie on past U.S presidents for a while, then we worked on a packet, which I nearly finished in class.
Then I got lunch, once again, miraculously, beating the line. I got my food and ate with my friends, enjoying the sunny afternoon and the gentle breeze that is signature California weather.
After lunch, I just listened to music and relaxed in the class where I am a teacher's aide. I would normally be doing homework, but I have no homework for any of my classes tomorrow.
After school, I won my tennis match, continuing my undefeated streak from last year (19-0 in League).
I arrived to my house which was oddly vacant. There was a note on the table saying that they had gone out grocery shopping, but they had left me pizza in the oven. Can I say WINNING?
No homework at all! Yet, I felt like doing a good deed, so I wrote a rather easy impromptu article on Super Tuesday, which is tomorrow. I love politics, and although I may be considered weird because I enjoy learning and have knowledge about politics by my colleagues, guess what? I don't give a efffffffff.
Oh, and I edited a bunch of pictures from my camera today, just trying to get ready for Style Stalking to be up and running. These pictures are looking great and I am really excited to unveil them this week!

Spring fever
So, it's almost spring and tennis season has arrived. This past weekend, I played at the Clovis tournament, the biggest tournament in the nation. Although we did not win our championship game, we played great against teams that were better than us. I feel that we are ready for this upcoming season. Our first game against Delano was cancelled due to the rain.
I really want to get into the weight room before tennis practice so I can get ready for football and basketball next season. Next year I really hope we do it big because it is going to be my senior year and because we are going into a different league, one where we play teams our size. A league where we are seen as the "team to beat". I am just really excited for next season!
This week, Bear Pascoe is going to show up at Granite.
In other news, I am still sick and I am wide awake for having a beautiful nap and a lovely sleep last night after coming home from special needs prom. It was such a success and it was my first year going. I really enjoyed being with those kids and it was very touching dancing with them and seeing them smile.
Style Stalking will be up sometime next week, has been post-poned due to my busy life. I will do it as soon as I can, the only reason I'm up so late is because I have just finished writing an essay arguing for the legalization of marijuana. I know, typical cliche liberal youth of me.

Stroke of Genius
Well, this idea came to me when my friend took a picture of me. Then he said "Dang, you look like pretty cool. Imma take pictures of me every day this week". Then the idea appeared to me.
Actually, the idea started way back when I first secretly began reading GQ magazine. I say secretly because I never talked to my guy friends that I read GQ. Fear of being called a "queer" or other homophobic slurs? Maybe. But anyways, I would read the GQ website and I would draw much inspiration from the photos of men dressing very fashionable. Now, when I mean fashionable, I do not mean some printed t-shirt with skinny jeans, Vans, and a snap-back, which seems to be what EVERYONE at the school wears. I mean fashionable as in people having their own trendy style. I am modest, but I will say that I do often receive compliments from guys, girls, and teachers on my outfits, so I must obviously be doing something right.
I do not consider myself homosexual, or even metrosexual (I don't think Porterville is a very metropolitan area). I am very straight, I like girls. Just because I do not get my clothes from a Tilly's or Pac-Sun or Aeropostale, as many guys my age seem to be, does not mean that I am gay.
Now that we got that out of the way, I can finally share with you my idea! Well, in GQ, they have a section called "Street Style". In this section, they display photos of ordinary men that their photographers have taken. Wait, not "ordinary men" but fashionable men. I love these pictures because it shows that fashion does not just pertain to models. So, with this in mind, I began to take my camera to school and take pictures of my fellow students whom I think dressed well that day. I try to take as many pictures possible, and sometimes I do not tell my models that I've taken a picture of them, but I will tell them eventually! Haha, but anyways, once I show them the pictures that I've taken and asked for their permission to use them, I will post them on a different blog that I am going to make; a fashion blog. I will not be giving written tips or ideas, the only thing written will be the photo credits and/or description of what they wear. Brand name, then location. My new fashion blog will be up some time this week, hopefully. I'm just reallllllly excited! When I have the blog up, I will post up the link and PLEASE spread the word of my new fashion blog.
Don't know the name yet, but when I do, you'll know.
Departing to Long Beach in T-minus 3 hours and 3 minutes.
Au revoir.
Sniffle, sniffle, cough
I feel sick. Not like the cool, skater, complimentary "sick", but the runny nose, sore throat, headache kinda sick. Staying up this late will not do me any good, but what can I do? This insomnia is unbelievable! Now, I'm not a doctor, but I'm sure my insomnia is due to my going back to Long Beach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I absolutely LOVE Long Beach, my home town. Long Beach is where my heart resides, it's where I belong. Whenever I ever go to Long Beach, a feeling of great joy, happiness, and belonging-ness overcomes me, usually to the point where I can't sleep! I also took a shower right now, so I guess that will only make my insomnia worse. But oh well, it's not like I'm going to school tomorrow.
All day I've been listening to Kanye West's "Homecoming". Coincidence? No, whenever I go to Long Beach, I MUST listen to that song, over and over and over and over again. "Do you think about me now and then? Do you think about me now and then? Cause I'm coming home again." Those few lines fill my body with indescribable feeling that only happens whenever I'm going to back home to Long Beach. Once I graduate from highschool, I realllllllllllllllllllllly want to go to CSULB. It's my dream to go there!!!
The Beach is where I belong. The Beach is never gone.
The Beach is on my mind. At The Beach, there's no such thing as
Time.

Uggggh
Well, after a long time contemplating whether or not to do my homework for tomorrow, I finally decided to do it today, at around 10 o'clock p.m. Lengthy way of saying I procrastinated this weekend? You can say. And if you do say, you're right, I did procrastinate.
Actually, on second thought, it was more like thoughtful process on deciding whether or not to do my homework, because I thought the homework was unfair. My teacher was absent on Thursday, and I'm sure my teacher did not expect to be absent because the substitute did not have a lesson plan, so that shows that my teacher was in a rush and my teacher left probably due to an emergency or something. That's understandable. So my class was going to do an assignment that my teacher told was we were going to do, but since Teacher was not there, there was a sense of confusion amongst us because we did not know whether or not to do the assignment without Teacher. The sub was confused as well. Then who steps into play? The Aide for Teacher. Aide told us a whole DIFFERENT assignment, an assignment that was already on our desk and that we as a class were to do collectively and share. So we did the assignment and the whole thing took the whole class period, with Aide calling the shots.
The next day, Teacher finds out that we didn't do the assignment Teacher said we were going to do and thinks we did not do anything in class. Word in the hallway was that Teacher was FURIOUS. Then I got a slip from Teacher around the end of the day that told me I had homework over the weekend. I, along with many of my peers, did not think it was fair that we got assigned all of this homework because we only did what the sub said and the sub told us to listen to Aide. Aide was the ring leader and we all shamelessly obeyed Aide's commands because we thought that Aide knew what Aide was doing. Aide said Teacher had told Aide what to do, so all of us, including the sub, listened to Aide.
Luckily, some of my peers went to Teacher's classroom afterschool on Friday to talk diplomatically talk to Teacher. Teacher cut us some slack and reduced some of the homework, but not all of it, and Teacher did say that she was going to talk to Aide on Monday.
Let's see what goes down tomorrow. I gotta get back to finishing up my homework. Laters.
